Your Mac Hardware Setup

Recommended Posts

My first Mac! This setup isn't quite complete yet...I'm ditching the 19" Dell LCD and getting a 2007wfp to match the brightness/resolution of my iMac. I bought the iMac on Saturday from the Keystone Apple store in Indy...had to drive almost an hour to get it. Unfortunately, I had a problem with the superdrive last night where a disc was physically stuck in it and I had to coax it out with a screwdriver. Other than that though, I'm loving it! I still have a lot to learn about OS X.

Specs in sig. Will be upgrading to 2GB once memory prices come back down to earth, but it's pretty damn fast on 1GB as it is.

Hm. Do they don't sell the BT version individually do they? Special software--as in Logitech software?

As far as I know the BT version isn't avalible seperatly and I think the software was called OverDrive Logitech sadly does not see the need to support the MX 5000 Desktop Combo for Mac. So I'm using 3rd party apps for the keyboard and MX1000 Mouse

No, the BT version isn't sold separately. I'm using it from my MX5000 set. To answer your original question, it works great. No lag, and all the extra buttons are fantastic. I use the App button in between the forward and back thumb buttons for Expose. Makes things a lot easier.

    • Got it. Seem like a good improvement. Thanks. But, before we "Add the source to Trusted Sites," how would know if it is trusted or not? Could get messy for not first Knowing" it is clean. See what I mean?

    • I just started using Teams (and “New” Oiutlook) at work (instead of Slack) and both are truly abysmal pieces of software.
