[Skate] Favourite skater and favourite trick

Im interested in the views of fellow neowinians who skate.

Tell me who your favourite skaters are and what your favourite tricks are.

Heres mine : skaters = stefan janoski, anthony pappalardo and scott johnson,.

tricks = switchbackside flip, switch varial heel,

switch backtail variety's and nollie frontside flip.

Hawk with the 900...its completley unheard of

Many other skaters have tried the 900 and have got close. Brazilian Sandro Diaz can do it and does it much better, seeing his style is like 100 times better than Tony Hawks. :p

I'm not a skater, but I respect Tony Hawk 100%. He got skateboarding to where it is today. Without Tony Hawk, skateboarding would have never been as popular as it is. Tony Hawk = THE Man.

Tony Hawk has certainly increased skateboardings publicity and the amount of commercialism in the sport although it can be argued whether this is good or not.

Obviously he has added to the vert/ramp parts of skating aswell.

I love watching the XGames when they are on. People just up the stakes higher every year. When Tony Hawk and Andy MacDonald do the doubles it is really impressive. There are so many good skaters to pick a favourite.

i don't think anything can top tony's 900. considering it was in what, in 1999, and most people still can't do it. plus the birdman is getting up there in age too. he's the man, plain and simple. and he's the perfect role model for the sport.

i have a lot of other fav skaters though.

anyone here played Tony Hawk's Underground game. I've not played it in a while but it featured all the great skaters, and tricks. I think it was more thought out than the usual tony hawk series of games. Its a must have if your into skateboarding I think :) When you get really good at doing the more complex tricks you can make your skater do handstands, unusual grinds and manuals. I also like the darkslide trick ;)
