Internet Time Synchronization Not Working

Recommended Posts

Well you need to find out if something is blocking port 123 (ntp) first off. You need to verify that you have name resolution for where you trying to sync too, etc..

If looking for replacement to the windows builtin time service (which is quite limited) I would look into using the NTP software package (the official reference implementation of the NTP protocol) - http://www.ntp.org

You will also find there a list of stratum 1 and 2 time servers you can use - I would suggest you look for one that supports your region of the WORLD. time.nist.gov would not be a preferred server for you - since your not in the US.

Here are few closer to your location ;)
