Windows Codename: Opus

Build 3.0

(30.07.04)

By Ross 'b0se' Harvey

About

CO is designed as an ergonomic replacement for the default Windows Classic theme. It was designed with long-term use and compatibility in mind.

Features

- 5 colours: Alpha, Blue, DeviantART, Green and introducing Dusk

- Normal & Compact start panel versions

- Classic and Coloured taskbar versions

- Matching wallpapers and shellstyles

- Yz Dock by Manyk

Latest Additions

- New colour: Dusk

Dusk uses the new buttons for the taskbar and toolbar also, making it a very soft variation. It was added for people who prefer non-grey themes. I must admit, I'm using it myself now!

- (All versions) Toolbar height has been reduced, and the 'Menu' text on the start button removed.

Modders...

Due to the age of this theme, modifications will not be granted permission for public release. Modifications for personal use are perfectly welcome.

Hope you enjoy the latest build, and comments are welcome!

Note: WindowBlinds version on the way...

Bose what are those icons called?

as to b0se's request: a darker taskbar and startmenu...i also fixed some coloring that i thought i was a really bad job on my part.

now we wait for b0se to fix some things that i couldn't do :pinch:

That looks awsome!!!!! I hope that we can get a compact start menu though :)

I will have to grade this VS as an... A+ ! :woot:

That's a hard grade to get from me.

I don't use about 99% of the styles posted for longer than an hour or less, before I decide there is something about them that I don't like.

Using the DeviantART color version with the colored taskbar. :cool:

Excellent work bOse ! :yes:

Thanks guys! :?)

Black one is looking nice, after the weekend I'll be doing some tweaking then will add it. I might replace the default Blue version, does anyone ever choose that over Alpha?

The reason I ask, is because the VS is 'full', I can't add anymore sub-styles...

Thanks guys! :?)

I use blue!

Remove green instead! :devil::

lol :?)

People tend to choose the DA variation before Green. I'll figure something out, I may release another whole style Codename : Opus Part2, which is the same, but with more colours (purple, grey, black, teal etc)...

Blue is safe, don't panic(Y))

Green must die. :devil::

A major compiler is used for both x86/x64 and WoA64 architectures. This also means that all core libraries are re-compiled accordingly which required some changes in the build scripts. One of the core libraries (cURL) has been updated to address vulnerabilities and a nasty linker error that was causing the need for a dedicated patch which could now be eliminated.
