bcool ... you didnt change the text color though, correct? It must be possible to change the text color somewhere, instead of changing the actual background image.

 No doubt there is. Unfortunately this stumbling novice hasn't a clue. I thought I was doing well figuring out how to change in effect the rollover highlight "bar" in these menus. Fixing the actual highlight text color on rollover would be the best fix IMHO. Let us know if you figure out how to modify that via Reshacker. Sorry if I wasn't clear earlier about how I ended up working around this to my liking.

bcool: I never actually noticed that it was black...

Easily changed, added it in the ToDo list (Y)

Thanks for WA skin Spacey!

I have no time to do anything but my thesis atm, so everything is on pause until its done, deadline is creeping up on me :s

I'm just waiting for the windowblinds version, I'm using the skinstudio conversion at the moment but it's not as polished as I would like and you can make it.

How do I fix this problem? http://dmh.unlink.org/temp/problem.gif

It does occure with some themes, but some are OK :(

I've seen this problem before, but never on a sometime basis like you have it. It seems to happen for two different reasons:

1) When a program gets a visually styled and that program has a custom user interface (that is, a non-standard interface). So the visual styling and the interface elements conflict. This causes a similar blanking effect

2) You use a third party program to add a .manifest file and the program is already windows XP stylable.

So why it's doing it sometimes, I don't know.

I used to have a similar problem with some visual styles working and other's not working right with a program called image analyzer. Some visual styles would work fine, while others would create blank subwindows. I could not figure out what the problem was (though recent versions do not have this problem). So do like OPaul suggested and contact the programmer(s). Telling them which visual styles cause the problem and which video drivers you are using (as that could be a contribution factor).

ugh someone PLEASE send me this through PM, I love this theme but I dont wanna wait 40 minutes for it from DA

Jeez, finally got it off DA. bOse if you don't mind I'd like to help mirror it PM me if that's alright and I'll post a link for everyone :)

Pretty Nice VS!!!!... just installed! but got a question, where can i download "Yz Dock by Manyk" cant find it anywhere!

Thanks!

I'm not sure he's asking for "Yz Dock" itself (If you are then m-head is correct :)), but rather the yzdock backgrounds that were made to match this vs. b0se may have just forgotten to include them in this latest build, but I'm sure someone has them.

    • Microsoft confirms a new, useful Teams' app is coming very soon by Sayan Sen In the modern digital workspace meeting recordings and summaries are very commonplace, still finding the right recap later can be surprisingly difficult. To address that inconvenience Microsoft is working on a new dedicated meeting recap application designed to bring all meeting recaps into a single, centralized location. In a recent announcement on its Microsoft 365 roadmap website, the company has confirmed the new applet and has explained how the new experience will work and why it believes it can help users stay on top of discussions without having to search through multiple chats, calendars, or files. For those unfamiliar, meeting recaps provide a summary of key discussions, decisions, action items, and other relevant information generated after a meeting ends. They are intended to help participants revisit important points while also allowing those who missed the meeting to quickly catch up on what happened. Traditionally locating older recaps could require users to navigate through various conversations or meeting histories. The new meeting recap app aims to simplify that process by gathering all available recaps into one dedicated hub. According to Microsoft, this should make it easier to browse past meetings, review outcomes, and stay informed about ongoing projects and discussions. One notable feature of the applet is the addition of quick filters which are meant to allow users to instantly narrow down the list of available recaps and surface specific meetings without manually searching through extensive records. Audio recap is also there. If you're wondering how long these recaps will last before self-expiring, the app will provide access to meeting recaps from the past 30 days or approximately one month. You can view the feature entry here on the official Microsoft 365 (M365) website under roadmap ID 564614. Its rollout is set to begin this month (June 2026). Do keep in mind though that new feature rollouts often get delayed.
    • Does it have couch co-op is the question I have here.
