Firefox (link click sound?)

G'day ladies and gents. I have been using Firefox and I love it, but (as trivial as it may sound) I really miss that "click" sound you get when you click on links in IE. Is there any way to make this happen in FF? Maybe there is an extension that can do this? Thanks! :yes: :D

:blink: That click is one thing that ANNOYS me when I am on a Windows PC. :p

Let me look into google and see how this can be added to Firefox...

I know they were talking about making it into an extension feature.

Try asking about it in the Mozillazine Extensions forum...

My google didn't turn up anything but different people asking this question in other forums.

I also looked in "about:config" to see if there was a click sound option. Not that I could see. :no:

Only suggestion I have for now is to bend your head closer to your mouse. :p

Christ how do I unistall this damn thing. It beeps when you mouse over ANY type of link/button. It doesn't show up in the Extension Manager, grr.

lol... yeah, it's kinda annoying, but if you love how IE make sound you might like it. It's an old extension which designed for an older Firefox 0.8. You will need to install this extension, Show Old Extensions then uninstall it from there.

I'm not sure it will fully work with new Firefox 0.9.2 or not, but it seem to work just fine with Firefox 0.8.

That's a good idea. I also want to hear the other sounds that I've defined for Window actions such as alert boxes, confirm boxes, menu popups and menu commands.

I just saw Torisugari, the author of the Soundextension update it to version 1.0. It should work just fine with the lastest Firefox.

I can't remember whose optimized build iit is but someone makes one with a sound when you click a link.
