So, the Longhorn Aero theme in XP isn't the same as the look in Longhorn! You can't create the perfect Aero threme for all!

For me the window must be White and we add transparency, taskbar must be white too, exept the start button in black

i want it like this

looks so sweet!

I love it !

For me the best Aero theme was (because project terminated?) the photoshop creation? by DigitalFreedom.

I think is the best !

This one

Yes, I agree. Everyone, check out that thread. DigitalFreedom has taken screenshots of Longhorn (beta) and Photoshopped them. The outcome is amazing, although quite simple. I hope the real Longhorn looks like this... with a more 3D feel and hardware acceleration, of course.

As for your ideas, Windows X, I prefer the black design, which is actually what I have my XP skinned as no:p:p. However, if I must choose, I would have to say the silver/black combo of the link above.

TheDreamX, I'm making those themes now. I think I'll call it Aero UI if everyone agrees. TaskBar and Captionbar are done. Buttons look damn nice as Jade taskbar but little different from Jade because I need to make 6 images for one pic.

I'm verry exited ! This theme is great!

hmm... that idea of a Day-Desktop would be great but if it could connect to weather.com and get the information about the weather outside, and then it would change the background when the sun position changes or when it starts to rain in a cloudy day... that will be fantastic...

lets say if longhorn backgrounds were a little like samurize... or rainmeter... :D

I think we can make it in Samurize or even active desktop. Make flash thingy for weather view and get weather data to display from web.

Here's what I've done so far. Changes are CaptionBar and Taskbar. The rest still be like latest Longhorn Aero from LTP6. If you have any other idea about this work, feel free to comments and post your suggestion. ;)

You say you are making these right now? That's great, but they have already been done. Just have a look. Now if you could make a theme that looked like that Photoshop-only project, that would be freakin' sweet!

I think a little addon in the theme should include the cursor (if any) and icons you have taken the screenshot with...

Ask permission off the creator ofcoarse, but I hate it when you download a VS... and you get your hopes up over a screenshot you've just seen...

Then, you install it, and the one thing that finishes off a desktop isn't there... the cool icons you saw in the screenshot.

Just my little recommendation to make the VS look even better :)

Lol. Looks funnily. :) Let me tell you what happened.

1. Corporel Clegg requested me to make black Aero theme. I said I'm making one and give my new Slate for better "Black" theme before I give him black Aero.

2. He used file I gave him to make that.

3. I finished this and post some pics in somewhere in this forum.

4. He requested me to give that theme (Current shot)

It'll be all right to make it because he didn't start that first.

Wait so Clegg copied a theme you were working on and packaged it before you? I'll get yours when it's ready and delete this one.

    • While I agree with all that, it just proves there's an a** built for every seat.
    • Lol are you mad because I'm not using AI? I'd rather pay people than lose a bunch of potential customers and get humilated because I used AI. A lot of people won't purchase a game if it used AI during development.

LibreWolf is designed to increase protection against tracking and fingerprinting techniques, while also including a few security improvements. This is achieved through our privacy and security oriented settings and patches. LibreWolf also aims to remove all the telemetry, data collection and annoyances, as well as disabling anti-freedom features like DRM. LibreWolf features: Latest Firefox — LibreWolf is compiled directly from the latest build of Firefox Stable. You will have the the latest features, and security updates. Independent Build — LibreWolf uses a build independent of Firefox and has its own settings, profile folder and installation path. As a result, it can be installed alongside Firefox or any other browser. No phoning home — Embedded server links and other calling home functions are removed. In other words, minimal background connections by default. User settings updates Extensions firewall: limit internet access for extensions. Multi-platform (Windows/Linux/Mac/and soon Android) Community-Driven Dark theme (classic and advanced) LibreWolf privacy features: Delete cookies and website data on close. Include only privacy respecting search engines like DuckDuckGo and Searx. Include uBlockOrigin with custom default filter lists, and Tracking Protection in strict mode, to block trackers and ads. Strip tracking elements from URLs, both natively and through uBO. Enable dFPI, also known as Total Cookie Protection. Enable RFP which is part of the Tor Uplift project. RFP is considered the best in class anti-fingerprinting solution, and its goal is to make users look the same and cover as many metrics as possible, in an effort to block fingerprinting techniques. Always display user language as en-US to websites, in order to protect the language used in the browser and in the OS. Disable WebGL, as it is a strong fingerprinting vector. Prevent access to the location services of the OS, and use Mozilla's location API instead of Google's API. Limit ICE candidates generation to a single interface when sharing video or audio during a videoconference. Force DNS and WebRTC inside the proxy, when one is being used. Trim cross-origin referrers, so that they don't include the full URI. Disable link prefetching and speculative connections. Disable disk cache and clear temporary files on close. Disable form autofill. Disable search and form history...and more. • hahahahah wow hahahah you sure got me there hahahahahah, you know that bad performance is always due to poor optimization by the developers, right???
    • "I know for a fact I'll never own one of these." This is why choice is better than government regulation. Globaly Android has something like 72% of the smartphone market. Granted the vast majority of that is low end phones. Apple can and should charge whatever they want. The market will decide if it is too much.
