Heres a new project ive been working on codenamed: FreeStyle

yes named after the microsoft development of the same name, the desktop and the visual style were built to match one another.

The desktops Menu is in Flash and gives some nice effects off and the Live clock also gives it that extra touch

The Visual Style itself, is sleek and professional just the way I like it, The startMenu design partly comes from the VSNET2 Visual Style. Apart from that the Visual Style has been built to simply blend in and match the Desktop.

Its all still in its Alpha stages but a release should be soon. The picture is in poor quality but once you use it, its one damn smooth VIsual Style.

Copy and Paste this link into a new Window and you should be able to see the preview pic

The Visual Style being used is called Freestyle. Its a visual style I made to match the activbe desktop I made to go with it.

You have to copy an dpaste the link into a new window, if you dont do that you will get an error message instead of seeing the pic. THats due to the hosting not me.

THankyou all for your kind comments, indeed due to this response I will attempt to accelerate work on the Visual Style and release it as soon as possible.

In the mean time, if my computer still work after tonight..........theres a hell of alot of lightning around and im on my comp and the net, apparently isnt a good combination but well see how we go, ill try and upload other pics as soon as possible.

What exactly about the start button would you like to know?

OSIRIIISS! I LOVE that visual styles..

1 wish from me

I hope you make a taskbar as same as a windows classic style or like water color's taskbar, because big taskbar is really annoying, please please please.. or just make 2 styles, 1 with normal size and the other one with a smaller taskbar.. :D

sweet man!

YEah ive been considering doing that I got use to a small title bar when I was using watercolor.

Alright ill check it out how that looks or jus tmake two versions. Also, you like the idea of the title in the center of the titlebar, ill upload a pic with it in the center, im just womdering if other ppl like it in the center or at its defualt left.

    • Less powerful than a PS5 at twice the price! I wonder if they use that for marketing? Totally DoA.

    • How does it compare to the "SeeStar S30 Pro" and the "Vespera PRO 2"?
    • Indeed. And note that those units are MUCH cheaper than this new Steam Machine...ahem.
