What is soo good about this theme.

This theme is just like everone else's theme and the theme's i have found on the Internet aswell????

Just be quiet. THis is an awesome theme - excellent quality and very close to all longhorn ss's. THanks KoL and ignore stupid people like this guy. He's never made anything of value in his life. Please shut up dreamsweb before KoL is forced to leave...

Sry, If you thought that I was saying Bad things about your Work!

I didnt mean it like that. I was just saying your Theme's, Are lookalike's To Alot of Other Theme's

But, you are doing a good Job :)

Haha, when I first read your post I was like 'what? he just dissed a KoL-created theme!'... but I kinda guessed that was what you meant, and here's something obvious- the fact that his and the other themes you mentioned are usually ports, and to have them all look alike must mean the authors are doing a good job.

In the case of KoL, his work speaks for himself.

Sorry, I understood it that way. :pinch:

@ A.K.R.?: Well is going to be seven, Plex, Jade, Aero, Slate, Athens, Atenas and DMW. If you count Thin and Normal Taskbar is going to be 14 themes.:blink:k:

erm, can you remove that seperator from under the menu and bring the back/forward a little upwards? Other than that, it is AWESOME!

Nop you cant remove that separator. The only thing you can do is if you have a one color toolbar background make the separator the same color to make it "invisible", with gradient toolbar background you cant do that :(

You can remove the file menu editing the registry. Search the forums and you'll find how.

wow KoL, Athena looks damn nice! actually this is the only Longhorn theme I can use for a longer time, never been a big fan of Longhorn VS but I'm getting there...Slate is growing on me also because of your accurate ports! Good to see someone making "real" quality ports...can't wait for Athena! I noticed you have to use a Longhorn VS for a longer time to see how nice they are...

Windows_X, I know I have been hard on you...so I'll fill you in on a bit. Youv'e got some reading ahead of you though LOL. One the first picture you presented, the red part is where Aurora will be. It is half implimented in that screen pic. Aurora is not a visual style as you all seem to think. I just wanna make it clear that it is not. People have been hard at work extracting different parts of Aurora, and there are two main views. There's Aurora for the desktop and then Aurora Preview (which I suggested to KoL). The Preview is that red part in the first pic you showed me. The desktop Aurora is an effect that we've seen from the Milestone 6 wallpaper if any of you have it. Most people got variations on it, blue green and so on, but the original was red. That was a screenshot taken from a desktop running Aurora desktop. Do you see how the wall looks like drapes for a curtain somewhat? (Go with me here lol) that part actually moves. That is what Arora is...the XAML based structure that creates this effect. For more reading, I suggest ieXbeta, since alot of the stuff posted you might get a benefit out, and some pointers perhaps in trying to work with a modified Aurora in both of your visual styles.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
    • As a game dev, today was really depressing. They announced that Blueprints will be deprecated in UE6 to be fully replaced by their sh**ty Python-like Verse language... They also announced that 5.8 will be the last version of UE5 until UE6 comes out in MID 2029!!!! They have completely lost the plot.
