I use Regseeker and it's free.

It'll scan your index.dat instances and show you what they contain. I use this on a lot of PC's where they delete the history, temporary internet files, etc. and think it's gone.

Think it's gone after doing it? :p Had one guy's eyes light up after he deleted everything and then Regseeker found some 7,000 entries in the index.dat file(s). We could see everywhere he went.

Wow, thanks Ghost96, I used Regseeker last year and forgot about it, thanks for reminding me about it, very useful !

I also tried Regseeker's registry cleaner, I first scanned with CCleaner and it found no issues I then scanned with Regseeker and it found over 700 registry entries that were not needed.

Thanks again !

I know it's OT (sorry), but check out the rest of the freeware apps on their site if you get a chance.

Freeware should be at the bottom of their main site. I'd get the exact address, but I'm behind a block filter at the moment...

HoverIP is nice (as an alternative to SuperScan) and HoverSnap for pics is great too.

Sorry again for the OT reply.
