Bush is an idiot, but I think Kerry is more of one (and Al Gore is too)

Google should not phyisically alter their search results, the forumla should be altered never manual changes

that's what directory's are for, besides if they did we wouldn't have all these funny little google searchs

yeah... first off, this is not a thread asking for your opinions on Bush, Kerry, and Al Gore, please keep them to yourself. Second, would you please show me proof that Google had ' physically alter their search result'?

yea it doesn't have the new google style though, so it's not as tricky as it used to be

oh give it a rest! google works by a system. the page that has the most links pointed toward it that most relates to your querry is the highest link. what you thinks theres this google conspiracy that its being run by left wing extremist trying to sway middle of the line voters?! google is a machine. no one is customizing the results for certain search terms.

also:

try typing "dumb motherf*cker" and hit im feeling lucky. replace the * with a u ( for all two of you who didnt figure that out already ) youre in for a real shocker :o.

this wasn't intended for you. i just saw a thread on it before and posted why. i don't appreciate personal attacks because of that.

so do you believe that google deliberatly set that up or what? what then is the purpose of this thread obviously its been shown how a bunch of people can work together to create a humorous joke (well funny to me). Do you think that someone might accidently search miserable failure without knowing about this joke and have their vote swayed by a search engine?

"I love Bush Hes so Great"

"Hmm Mabye Ill search google to find out about a miserbale failure"

"OH NO I am voting for the wrongperson google told me that BUSH is a miserable failer"

"Guess I know which miserable failure im not voting for"

PLease your opinion can be respected but only if you post has a point this would have been better suited for jokes and funny stuff the npeople could either smily face it or express their anger against a search engine that dare let a joke like this live.

What I find to be the funniest part of this nimwitted thread, is that by bringing it to everyone's attention (like it has been done a few hundred times before) Its increased the times people have done the search and likely increased its popularity. I know I clicked it again, always good for a laugh. I tend to consider google a combination of endless knowledge powered by a magic 8 ball. Sometimes its dead on the money, other times, not so dead on. As to which this is, well I think the majority already spoke.

Yes but "Anyone but bush" indicates ignorance and lack of knowledge when it comes to campaign issues. If you like Kerry, fine. If you like Bush, fine. If you like nader, thats fine too. But "Anyone but whoever" shows seriously lack of intelligence.

i do not agree. bush has been pretty extreme. when youre extreme - you get extreme followers and extreme haters. many ( including myself ) dont agree with many of his actions - namely his jingo-esque series of military assaults, the economy, and the homeland security/information security ( read: the findings in the 9/11 report ). i agree that 'anybody but bush' is pretty extreme, but 'desperate times call for desperate measures.'

Here's why Miserable Failure brings up President Bush's biography: http://oldfashionedpatriot.blogspot.com/20...727416975886151

Its not some Google conspiracy. Google's own CEO's biography was googlebombed with negative search phrases just to show that people can do it.

Here's the Snopes reference to all of this. I used to know a better site with a bunch of funny google bombs and how and why they came about, but I don't remember the link anymore.

Well if thats the way you see it, thats fine. We can all get along even if we believe different things, unless you're a penguin, then we can't get along. You're not a penguin are you? o_O

what if i dont want to get along and would vote for anyone running except bush. then we would have reach a non-sequiter

To elaborate on my "Anyone But Bush" post a little while ago:

I posted that simply because I've seen it posted several other places on this forum and I thought some comedic relief would help this pointless thread (which I'm just about to contribute to by bumping this thread back up).

I dislike Bush and 95% of his policies. On the other hand, Kerry seems to be all talk. In my mind, Bush has already failed, and I would rather give Kerry a chance than watch another four years of his country go by in embarrasment. What really sucks is that I live in Idaho, and there's no way the electorial votes are going Democratic in this state.

    • EA Sports UFC 5 is free-to-play on Xbox Series X|S this weekend by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Every Thursday Microsoft brings in a fresh slate of games for Xbox gamers to try over the weekend as a part of its Free Play Days promotion. The latest refresh that arrived today only revealed a single title for the weekend, and that's EA Sports UFC 5. This is a special occasion as well. Unlike the standard events, this one does not require any tier of Game Pass to jump in. All Xbox Series X|S owners can play the game over the weekend, even if they do not have a Core subscription. As always, any progress made during the weekend also carries over automatically if you decide to purchase the game afterward. Coming in from EA Sports, UFC 5 is the latest entry in the long-running mixed martial arts fighting games. This installment landed in 2023 for the latest generation consoles. Built on DICE's Frostbite Engine for the first time, the title event received an M rating by the ESRB for its realistic injury system, as EA wanted to make a more authentic experience akin to the real-world sport. The damage system, dubbed the Real Impact System, involves depicting blood and sweat on fighters as well as facial injuries. Having injuries like bruised eyes or broken noses can even affect the performance of a fighter due to impaired vision or breathing difficulty. A doctor stoppage may even happen if the injuries become too severe. UFC 5 offers a single-player career mode to become the top-ranked fighter, online modes for competitive action, and special events tied to real-world fights. Here are the store links for the game: UFC 5 - $27.99 (Xbox Series X|S) UFC 5 Deluxe Edition - $31.99 (Xbox Series X|S) UFC 5 Ultimate Edition - $89.99 (Xbox Series X|S) This Free Play Days promotion will end on Sunday, June 29, at 11:59 pm PT. Following this, expect another round of games to enter the program next Thursday, July 3.
    • Windows 11 KB5060826 optional update brings better Setup, new data migration tool, more by Sayan Sen Alongside KB5060829 for Windows 11 24H2, Microsoft has also released its C-release non-security preview update for Windows 11 23H2 and 22H2 today. The new update is rolling out under KB5060826 (builds 22621.5549 and 22631.5549). KB5060826 brings an upgraded Setup which will now let admins choose whether to deploy critical updates during the OOBE (the initial out-of-box experience setup on Windows). Alongside that, it also adds the new PC migration experience on Windows Backup, as well as the default app changes related to the European Economic Area (EEA) region. The full changelog is given below: First up we have the changes and improvements for Gradual Rollout: [App defaults] New! We are rolling out some small changes in the European Economic Area (EEA) region for default browsers through the Set default button in Settings > Apps > Default apps: Additional file and link types will be set for the new default browser, if it registers them. The new default browser will be pinned to the Taskbar and Start menu unless you choose not to pin it by clearing the checkboxes. There is now a separate one-click button for browsers to change your .pdf default, if the browser registers for the .pdf file type. [PC Migration] New! The PC-to-PC migration experience in Windows is starting to roll out. You’ll begin to see the landing and the pairing page in the Windows Backup app, giving you a first look at what’s coming. In the full experience, you’ll be able to transfer files and settings from an old PC to a new one during setup. Support for this feature during PC setup will arrive in a future update. The rollout is being introduced in phases to support a smooth experience. [Windows Share] New! When you share links or web content using the Windows share window, you will see a visual preview for that content. Up next, we have Normal Rollout features: [Windows Setup] New! Admins can configure whether a new device gets critical updates during the out-of-box experience (OOBE). The update has a single known issue related to Noto fonts. You can view the support article here on Microsoft's official website. The update can be obtained by clicking on "Check for optional updates" inside Windows Update. You can also download it manually from Microsoft Update Catalog website.
