i have an external us robotic?s modem but the xp cant detect it,

how can i configure it?

Go there. Look up the support for your product and find the drivers there. XP doesn't detect a lot of older hardware, and the really new hardware. I'm assuming you're on dial up and are using an external 56k modem. So just look for your drivers there.

ive tried 3 modems in 2 computers
