sounds more like the name of a porn site

The sheer mention of a naked Ted Rogers makes my eyes cringe.... :o :o :o

Yes, Rogers Hi-Speed Internet & Rogers Extreme High-Speed Internet customers can have up to 5 @rogers.com e-mail accounts (including their primary), but they must create it for you.

Additionally, the customer is responsible for your actions under the mail account that is created, and I don't know anyone who would take that kind of risk.

It's probably a better idea to just get into the GMail queue :)

You can have a 2GB Email account w/ the primary rogers email, too. I love that :D

Thats the second best thing Rogers has to offer, after their internet service.

5000/800? Something crazy like that :/

Yep. 5000 Download / 800 Upload.

The down side? Shelling out $100 CDN for a new cable modem :(

But it's worth it! I trashed my old Terayon modem (the big square black one) for a new Motorola SurfBoard 5100 when I moved up to Rogers Extreme.

Lets just say... it's a lot faster :)

Its way faster. I love it. But.. the $100 is definately worth it. Sometimes, I've gotten download speeds of up to 12mb/s. Its wierd. I used to have High Speed Lite and I had download speeds of up to 150kb/s, but for a few months I had download speeds of 500kb/s. ;)

On servers that are actually connected to the Rogers network or any businesses that carry internet traffic over the Rogers data network, I routinely push 550 KB/sec - 600 KB/sec download speeds.

It also helps that my network subnet isn't overloaded like some other Rogers switching stations (IE is.Bloor.Rogers.com & mtnk.Rogers.com) since I live in an area that doesn't have a lot of Rogers Internet subscribers (most of them are on DSL or Look).

Yeah I am on a grid that isnt overloaded, great for me :D

Btw, I believe its 900Kb/s upload, not 800. I think, not sure.

As well, I did a thread on if I should move to it, and people reported 500-600KB/s download speed on major sites like FilePlanet, Microsoft, Etc. -- so it should be worthwhile, and I will take the plunge into it this weekend! Got spare $$ from birthday :D
