Displaying a video as wallpaper?

hey everyone, new member here.. and would like to ask a question about wallpapers

hopefully this question hasn't been up too many times before... i've searched around the forums already (the words 'video', 'wallpaper', etc. don't exactly bring up very specific results in the search forum feature :p ) and have come up rather short.

are there any nice methods to display a video as a wallpaper? i'm not really looking for programs where you have to play a video and then set it to a desktop feature (i.e. BSplayer and DVDs on NVDVD), but i'm looking for a program where i can set a specific video and have it load automatically at startup (like normal wallpapers! :D )

make an HTML page with some video on it, and put it as wallpaper ;)

bsplayer has the ability to play video in the background. this might be your best choice.
