It was working perfectly fine yesterday. I connect my laptop to my 62" HDTV to play games and whatnot, but today I went to plug it in, it wouldnt work. Another monitor works, but not the svideo to the TV...

I re-installed drivers, I tried another cable, I played around with settings, nothing is working. I currently cant try rebooting with the TV plugged in because for some reason when i boot up, if im not plugged into a lan network, I get a blue screen of death after the windows XP boot screen. I've tried everything there too, installed drivers, reinstalled drivers, turned off the network, nothing is working there too. I may have to reformat.

Anyone have any ideas as to why my video output isn't working. I highly doubt that its the S-Video component itself... i think its a software conflict of some sort.

Okay, its a compaq Presario 2100, AThlon XP-M 2500+, ATI Radeon 320M 64MB, Windows XP Professional SP1

I can't reboot because the tv isnt in the same room as my internet (which im having problems booting without it connected to the router or the modem itself (i posted that problem in the XP forum). Ever since I sent this machine to HP and got it back, I've been having more problems with it than before.

I have taken off the tv, rebooted, plugged it in after bringing the laptop back to the living room, but no dice.

I've rolled back to XP's original installed files, still nothing, I reinstalled the latest ATI drivers for it, still nothing.

It doesn't seem like a hardware problem because if it was the graphic card, adding another monitor to it wouldnt work, but it does. Just no TV...
