How do I get those shutdown icons in the top-right corner?

You can get those Shutdown Icons in this thread, but I made new ones (they don't need folders anymore, just a reg file and they have Enhanced Context menus). :D

sent you a reply. i'm at work, so i might not be able to chat, but i'll try and talk to you tonight. here are some things that bug me:

-changing icons. we should go into detail, especially when it comes to special folders.

-getting large desktop icons. this has been discussed to death, but people just don't read.

-hacking system properties dialogue.

-startup screens. more detail, e.g. palettes.

-editing icons. which apps, and how to do it (e.g. conversion).

-how to use replacer (some people just don't know!).

-how to change the default system font.

-how to remove the throbber in explorer/ie, or how to replace it.

-long taskbar.

-creating reboot/shutdown shortcuts.

-deleting special folders like my pictures.

-reshacking guide! start with reshacking shell32.dll, so people stop asking.

-making visual styles (talk about the difference between VISUAL STYLES and THEMES).

-how to get transparency.

-shells. give reference sites.

-console. tell people how to get nifty-looking consoles.

-permission. what to do when you get the "access is denied" popup.

-search companion loads when you browse explorer.

-marlett!

-tclock2 (go in depth).

-hacking the start button.

-samurize weather plugin guide.

-window rolling apps.

-avi fixes in xp.

some border on tweaking, but i still want guides because people keep asking the same questions. i have more ideas, but i just need to go through the forums again and pick out more annoyances.

    • Doing that has only worked for me with the Enterprise version.
    • I like Neowin a lot, but this "article" is shady and misleading. We need an "editorial" flag and this isn't "news" it's "my cousin's dog's best friend posted on twitter about their snapchat account from their dog's owner that a bad thing happened, so it's NEWS." Thanks
    • Burrrrn. Bought COD WWII last month when it was on sale for PC. Oh well. Excellent game tho, and the PC version plays/looks amazing (and has it's own PC achievements). ...wondering if this is a lesson on waiting on sales. ...also hoping Rise of the Tomb Raider has it's own PC Achievements
