Well it is cracked, there just waiting on a memory patcher or something, and they just released the cracked cs source hlds apparantly, being uploaded now so says maddoxx

Hm, I just copied the launcher.dll from the Hl2 Beta and now I get a different error.

edit: the launcher.dll needs to be cracked which is in the "cant show file name here" file

Ya i downloaded the EXE's and some folders.

I merged the content from the cache and the RAR i downloaded ... it asks for a filesystem_stdio.dll

In fact, I'm starting to wonder if this isn't partly as a 'dry run' for the encryption software and Steam integration, and a chance to see who's doing the cracking. It would be awesome to wake up and discover Valve had had Maddox and the crew arrested. :woot:
