Preload CS:Source early!

They've changed the feel of movement considerably, and it feels better after all the restrictions they put in 1.6. Character models look amazing, but the textures just look average.

Best things are the new flashbang and smoke grenade effects... the flashbang burns onto your screen and fades out and the smoke grenade is a lot better (you can hide in the smoke and see out... but people can't see in - it will add a whole new dimension to the game).

Get CZ and you get the beta loaded on the 17th and launched on the 18th via steam. (officially)

What people are playing now is cracked version of what cyber-caf?s got earlier (same beta).

So, yah get CZ and get into the CS:S beta, do it - now:)).

@ jerry, i know im getting into more than i can chew, as CS players are the most hardcore out there, so i figure i might as well get a taste of the blood as soon as possible, but i might just wait as you said. alot depends on if target still even has the game.

you cant play protocol 3, get back to v2

Minimum requiremens are P3 733, with 128MB RAM, and a DX7 VC.

Yes, they have fixed the exploit ;)

Well, they monitor forums, and know exactly what is happening...

Why do you think they haven't fixed the CS:S "problem"? Perhaps because it's good for underground publicity?

everytime i played the game it would crash and i even had v2 ..................so i quit and im just gonna wait till the real beta come out for us cz owners:(

Hmm I doubt you,ll crack the Hl2 pre-load as theer not preloading the game engine I dont think. Only the textures / sounds etc as there now final

i followed all the stuff on emporio and still it would keep crashing and i just dont need it that bad but th anyways :)

Crashing? Hm, it never crashed, but had many (MANY) error messeges... Well, anyway, it's OK, but nothing really new, just the graphics and the physics engine.

yea i know if i made my own server i got to run around for like 5 min before it actually crashed it isa very good game and that iswhy i have hl2 preordered :)

Those are the req for CS:S right? and not CZ? cuz i thot the HL2 engine needed more than that..

So ur saying my P3 800mhz with Nvidia TNT2 32mb and 384 sdram can handle that beast?

Yep, thats a major advantage of the source engine it is very scaable. You may not get the best grahpics for it on the lower end but it will be very much playable
