Php Sites

Question

Hi,

I decided to go from e107 to php-nuke until e107 fixes most of the bugs and the creating blocks/modules thing. What i need is some good sites that have php themes, hacks, add-ons, etc ....I know phpnuke.com is one of them but any more that offer alot of good phpnuke stuff (FREE)?

Thanks :).

php-nuke was your worst choice.  It's riddled with holes, exploits and bugs i used it once and vowed never to use it ever agian.  Plus you get a lot more statisfication out of making your own :).

Exactly. Devshed posted a five part tutorial on how to code a CMS, here are the links:

Or you could download a basic one from Hotscripts and modify the hell out of it, but make sure that you give credit to the original author. Or you could just wing it like I've been doing, whatever works. PHP is not a difficult language to understand, so give it a try. Its no fun when all the work is done for you.

Remember if something is quick to do, then it hasn't been done to it's fullest. So far my CMS has been in the making since january and won't be ready till about december

Mine is on hold at the moment while I work on Neomap, which is also coming along nicely.

    • No, it doesn't, but I'm sure you don't just mean compile when you say compile.
    • Wine is a translation layer, not an emulator. And there are many cases where performance is worse or BETTER under Proton, it really depends on the game in question.
