Case: Lian-Li PC65 with side open. If I close the case, the cpu temp skyrockets by 8C.

I think these temperatures are somewhat high for the heatsink that I use, but I quickly checked the heatsink and it looks well seated with a lot of clearance. I'll have to recheck the seating when I have the time :wacko:

^ Forget those temps, too high :p When I had the side pannel closed, the cpu temp would reach 61C. It was too suspicious so when I removed my heatsink, I noticed a large spot with no thermal grease. After properly applying some, Now I get much better load temps.

The modifications I've done:
