Best Live Rock Recording

Recommended Posts

Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band - live in ny city (first cd although thats not a song but a cd lol)

The Guess Who - Runnin' Back to Saskatoon (Runnin back thru canada tour) this version sure kix the album/1972 version lol

Bachman Turner Overdrive - Let it Ride (King Biscuit Flower hour)

Neil Young - Keep on Rockin in the Free World (Live at Rock in Rio III)

The Guess Who - American Woman (Runnin' Back Thru Canada tour) that version sure kicked ass, so many fans of lenny kravitz loved hearing it live back on their american tour last year...n its thanx to lenny that i like them lol

Joe C0cker - With a little help from my friends (not a recording but hearing it live in concert was the best, damn it was alot better than any mp3 version)

The Guess Who - Hand Me down world (Live at the paramount) love the bass in this tune, i didnt really like the Runnin back thru canada version cuz it was too lively but then again it was dedicated to the guy who wrote it

Steppenwolf - Born to be wild (and magic carpet ride of course :))

Dave Mathews band featuring neil young - cortez

Pearl Jam featuring Neil Young - cortez

DMB and PJ live versions of that song rule, i would love to have the recording of Cortez that was on Almost famous cuz it was recorded in europe on one of neil young's tours a few years back and it was really soothing :)

The Who - Shakin' all over (if your a big oldies fan this is a good live tune, its a cover of the cover song done by the canadian rock band "the GUESS who")

thats all i can think of right now
