Nforce Drivers wont install

I was trying to update them, but when I run the install shield wizard, it says it is preparing and just disappears. I tried uninstalling the old ones to see if it would work, but now I cant install the drivers off my CD either, same problem :no: . I tried it in safe mode too.

You're running XP right?

Run the installer in "compatibility mode" for Windows 2000.

:yes: Great it work for me too, I have had this problem for ages and searched all over the WWW for an answer and not found one I even tried re-installing every thing I could think of I am just annoyed the answer was so simple.

You would have thought Nvidia would have fixed this one as they have separated the 2000 and XP drivers but you can't install the XP drivers without running in 2000 compatibility mode. How stupid is that!
