Slipstreaming Windows XP Service Pack 2 & Boot CD!

Recommended Posts

Hi!

I get an error in AutoStream 1.0.30 process: "Runtime error 53 - File not found" after choosing the SP2 file, although I downloaded the official SP2 (WindowsXP-KB835935-SP2-DEU.exe) from the MS Site.

I then copied the WinXP plus SP1 CD onto my HD and tried slipstreaming the SP2 contents directly, made a boot CD and restarted my PC. Now I get an error saying that the NTDLL is missing.

Can anybody help me?

Thanks

Wow people still checking this out.

Just for people asking questions about using Nero. I do not support any methods other then shown in my article. If you do not wish to follow my methods and run into trouble, please do not ask me for support.

Thanks.

I am a newbie here. I agree with the above. :D

Ok, back to what this thread is about:

ToySoldier has created a fantastic tutorial. So much detail and screenshots and those red letters on the screen that really can help out. One of the best tutorials for windows I have encountered. :woot:

I really really look forward on the next tutorial on adding programs to the xp installation

Great work!

    • I guess we are done since you refuse to read my comment you replied to or my other comment in another thread you were also a part of here.
