More info + wallpaper =>just click on my sign

hey ultraman, what font are you using for the longhorn systray clock?

Wha..!!!!

What background is that?  Really nice desktop. :)

Love your Desktop! Will you share that awesome wallpaper please!?
Lovely desktop! Point me to the recycle Bin Icons please? :D

Thanks so much for your comments :) I'm glad you like it. I switched completely from Windows XP to Linux (Gentoo) a few months ago and I'm loving it  I had played around with Mandrake 9 before (a few years ago), but never spent the time to set it up exactly how I wanted. Now that I've had time time to do so, and thanks to the flexibility of Gentoo, I am a convert :)

It has to be said that there are some really fantastic Windows desktops here as well.

As requested, the wallpaper is Blue003 by "FR4NK"

And the Icons are from the Gno-SX Icon pack for Gnome, originally from Mac OSX. These are in .png format, but you can convert them to .ico easily enough.

Thanks again for your comments ^_^

Thanks for the Icons, and the PNG format is exactly what I wanted, I'm gonna use 'em for Avedesk

Seeing as I never themed my desktop for ages, I didn't bother with these threads but. Seeing as b0ses 'Codename Opus 3.0' theme is the best thing ever, and it got me interested in themes again, here is my September 04 desktop :)

Wallpaper : Just a photo of my VW Corrado taken in the late evening.

Theme : Codename Opus 3.0.

Winamp : Standard, obviously.

    • Onwards to Windows 12 then lol.
    • There is a long thread (128pgs and counting) that I've been following over at ElevenForums that has a method for updating Secure Boot even if there is no BIOS upgrade. I've used this method and had zero issues. NOTE:  I do not take any responsibility if this or any other Secure Boot method bricks your system -- YMMV!  Read carefully before using!
    • Yes, yes, YES, thank you AMD. Now display audio, night light, cleartype, etc, all work again.
