It's not so much that most of them think a girl can't do those things, just that a girl that looks like that can't do those things.

Either that or because we have had like 5 or so 'girls' post 'their' pic and the guys drooled over it

pming asking to cyber and later on everyone found out it was a guy.

There are girls here though just not many.

Woman trapped in a guy's body perhaps?

That's different from gay, right? ;)

(I wouldn't know... I've heard the excuse before though)

lol, is it flattering but sick?

there are some decent guys on here that I still talk to but the ones that say

"OMG you are a GIRL and you are on NEOWIN, you have b00bz, a/s/l ???"

get blocked pretty fast. Thats not too flattering, just annoying.

I duno maybe there mama didn't give them enough love when they were a child.

or too much  ;)

...too much...?

There's no such thing as--- OH! Look at the pretty bunnie-hop!!

*trips on untied show laces in persuit of strange pink bunnie*

This is getting weird lol... Anyone who wants to cyber, if you talk to me I will slap you somehow. Don't even bother if that is all you want. I am on here to join the community and help others and to get help. I sincerely love computers and just wanted to expose myself so that we could become better friends, not to create enemies... So lets just drop all of the things that were said ; I am a girl and that picture is me and this is one of the many things I enjoy doing.

Love ya

J.

Uhmm... Yea. Please, pretty please... do be careful about the "expose myself" quip.

It's entirely too easy for some people to take that out of context.

I bet some of them saved your picture and went on other forums saying your their gf.

It must be nice for a gal to be on the forums for a change eh? :p If you all REALLY want to talk to me about, photoshop, programming, any kind of sports, or anything else pm me

Hey there

Just added you to msn to see your profile... and just as I thought... you're a dude ! :p

You're his sister... riiiiight :ninja:

Hi, my name is Brian and I like people to think that I'm a chick !

A message to the admins: This topic as you can see has taken a turn for the worst, just as any topic would. I have enjoyed my demonstration greatly and I hope you have come to the realization that pictures of members just don't work. Human nature will cause all posts like this to degenerate into what you have seen here.

Sincerely

Can't you just not look at this thread, or ignore the stupid posts?

There are stupid posts and even stupid threads all over Neowin, just ignore them, (Y)

:)

I suppose I probably could, but this just goes to show that anyhting that is made to be nice to people or a way for people to interact as a community on a personal level fails.

Thats not true

And can we please get back on topic so another member pics thread isn't deleted? We were doing fine

    • On xiaomi hyperos there's also an option to disable google assistant. I've got everything disabled. Only thing I do have installed is a web wrapped for duck.ai which claims to let you use various AIs anonymously
    • I need to understand the rationale of not shipping all of these K2 improvements in a single update/release. It's giving "we will fix Windows 11 but no commitments". It seems to me that they just announce these improvements just to appease the community.
    • The term "RTM" is long gone starting with Windows 10. Every current release is a GA build. This is the result of MS making Windows as a Service (WaaS).
    • Looks like no official TBW rating, which should be a required listing in my opinion for sites like Amazon (hell, put it on the box too.)
