Thanks for the comments. Only thing that kind of sucks about having long hair and a beard is the world is full of judgemental ###### that'll take that as a sign of anything from me being a lazy bum to being a druggie, and when it comes to getting a job, that can really suck. I've already had to turn down 2 jobs because they don't allow beards and nearly had to quit one for my long hair. It's frustrating, because a lot of places only allow hair above the shoulder line on males or so, but have no regulations for female hair length. I know this is a bit more extreme, but in regards to man workplaces not allowing beards, even neat and well kempt ones....how would women feel if they were told they had to shave their head to work where they wanted, otherwise they wouldn't be hired? Personally I'm suprised jobs are able to regulate something such as facial hair to that degree. I can understand it if I'm going to work at Best Buy and be a salesman representing their company not to have a big, bushy hippie beard, but I don't see why an evenly trimmed, neatly groome dbeard should be a problem. I simply don't ever want to shave in my life again, except on rare occaissons.

Don't worry about callin me good looking, I appreciate that from a guy, straight or gay, as much as I do from a girl.

Metro...I saw the picture of the guy from smashmouth and I was just gonna say, wow, you look like the guy from smashmouth. Then I read your post. Hahah.

Anyways, thanks again. It's nice to hear people tell me my long hair looked good (And these people not being 15 year old girls trying to impress me by dressing gothic and listening to metal bands they think i listen to) as opossed to what I normally heard. I don't recall a day going bye that I went to school without someone saying something negative about my long hair.

I hear ya. I want to grow a beard but sometimes the future employer would just take one look at me and say I couldn't get that job. And I kept my beard well-groomed. Also, I had long hair in the summer but since then I worked in one play for the University Theatre and had to cut it but that I did because I know long hair wouldn't have fit to my character's profile.

Aaanyways, here's the latest pic from me, we had a party last night and that's me with my friend. I'm quite drunk there already, as you can see. :p

Heh, nice picture.

Yeah, I'm the type to stand up for **** I feel needs to be stood up for, like I think it's ridiculous that shaving is even something schools and workplaces can enforce to the degree they do. Hell, I'm the reason we can have facial hair at my school now, so I know change is possible. There comes a time however, when I'll have to choose between working at some local computer repair shop or a career as a networking puppet, and the latter might require shaving. If I'm going to be supporting a family, which I do plan to do, then some beliefs will just need to be compromised I guess.

Dude, Raum...

Long hair is badass and it fits you well man. If I could grow long hair I would but when my hair gets a certain length, it starts to curl and look really bad. I don't have the stereotype that people with long hair are buttrockers and what not. In fact, I am a hardcore buttrocker and probably don't look like one. I rock out so hard and listen to tons of different metal, thrash, hardcore, etc...

Some people just look better certain ways, and long hair is your thing dude for sure. Rock on.

    • This is exactly why I keep saying we are not ready for human free self-driving. These little "bugs" are may seem like random one-offs. There was also the Waymo that drove between police with drawn guns and the suspect they were pointing them at. From a software perspective it is easy to understand how those extremely rare situations may not have been programed for, but that is the point. If AI needs to be told to watch out for every possible contingency, then it can never be successful. There will always be the possibility of a first encounter that the AI needs to understand to avoid.

    • Recycle Bin has been broken for literal YEARS now. The setting to delete files older than 30 days from the bin which is on by default doesn't even work. I have files older than 4 months in it and they are just there still...
    • They’re really desperate to ingrain AI into society hoping to tug the heart strings of public to jump unto the boat of destruction to humanity’s individualism.
