Too right. I broke my arm and was skating in plaster and fibreglass for 6 months. And I was still better than all my mates :)

Looks pretty painful raum, but you know it's all worth it when you land that new flip trick or you get a crowd ooh-ing and ahh-ing at your skills.

Also note the 13 stitches in my upper lip, breaking 4 different fingers (2 of them broken twice), fracturing my thumb, breaking a wrist or two, spraining every sprainable joint I've got in my legs and hitting the pavement more times than I can count.

The fact that I still skate should tell you a little something of how much I enjoy it. :):):)
