thread resurrection time:

i'm using nexplorer 1.9 and when switching from Icon view to Column view, the borders inherit an image of the previous view. Same thing happens when I minimize nexplorer and restore it; then it just inherits sections of my wallpaper or whatever window nexlorer was restored on top of.

next issue is the shadow corners at the bottom of the nexplorer window; they're squared isntead of rounded off.

other than the little issues awesome skin. this skin honestly brought me back to using (or considering to use at least) nexplorer again.

here's a screen of my problem: nexplorer_glass.gif

The problem comes from this skin not having any included scrollbar images, which are always present in columned view.

Took me ages to figure that one out.

Anyway, you can copy in toolbars from the default theme, simply by moving the images into the glass skin's folder. It's the best solution until somebody makes an updated version, or I can be bothered to make some new scrollbars and ask Krezno for permissions.

Unfortunately I don't think its possible to make it launch instead of explorer when icons are pressed. You can always just have it run at startup, and use the sidebar to put shortcuts to your most visited places. Then its just a matter of alt-tabbing when you need to browse.

    • IBM are good at announcing stuff, but not at actually delivering it... How many decades ago did they announce quantum computers, and here we are in 2026, with CHINA delivering them, and IBM still talking...
    • It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite a narrative to align this layoff with your political beliefs. Games can be horrible, whatever backwards notions you have don’t change that bungie has problems, mostly with just bad games, and arrogance. When they pushed Microsoft to let them be independent they lost their way. They hired on a bunch of people and they couldn’t justify the employee count consistent with their revenue.
