When I try to change the default exe icon in Opera ver. 7.54 with Reshacker, it gives me this message:

"This file has a non-standard resource layout... It has probably been compressed with an "EXE compressor". ".

How can I get over this message? Do I have to use another prog to change the icon or it's not possible to change it at all?

The main Opera .exe file is actually compressed. Reshacker can only handle uncompressed executables. You will have to find a decompressor for it - but you will need to find out what format the .exe was compressed in first. Opera has some user forums at http://my.opera.com - it's quite likely that the compression format of the .exe has been discussed there at some stage.
