Major League Baseball will announce Wednesday that Washington will be the new home of the Montreal Expos (news), The Associated Press has learned. A city official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said Washington has been notified by Major League Baseball of the impending announcement that will return the national pastime to the nation's capital for the first time in 33 years.

Wonder how much they paid Angelos in ''compensation'? I'm sure the Orioles will lose some fans over this...

Oh yeah he is getting some compensation. I think they talked about starting a Sports TV network for the area, profits of which will go toward the Orioles

Wrong. In 1994 Montreal was going for the world series...Bang...A lock out and plyers were sold one by one as a "fire sale". Since then MLB was doomed in Mtl. Nothing was made to get the team better and so on. Canadian owners may not see the moving of the team a good thing. They will sue MLB, J.Loria, Washington State, Uncle Bud (the one who is president of that league :blink: ) and so on. The s*** will hit the fan of MLB....

      I do not remember anything happening to Apple and Google for bribing people not to make Apps for Windows Phone. Edge barley has a foot print to matter. If the other browser companies want more of the Pie, they need to do better. I use Brave on all my personal device. However in industry, Edge of default, as we can manage it easier with MS tools.

      On the one hand, it shouldn't be difficult. You buy a computer, you decide what OS you want, which browser etc. Simple enough. But that's the techie side of things. My sister, my mother, wouldn't bother with such a thought. And I'm pretty sure that if you presented a window asking them what to pick they would say, "I don't care! I just want to access my Email!"
