ObjectDock Plus splash screen

everytime windows starts I can see a splashscreen (for a very short time) after I installed ObjectDock Plus...

I don't have ObjectDock Plus running at windows startup but the splash screen is still there...

any of you knows how can I take it off ? I looked at Run keys in registry (HKLM, HKCU) and nothing there...

maybe it's a nag screen. i don't know, as i haven't used it. :laugh:

oh, shareware apps will add those screens that ask you to pay or just pop up all the time (so it's annoying, thus forcing you to pay). maybe it's something like that, but an objectdock plus user can probably tell you more.

yeah I also get that splash screen but I don't see it often because it disappears so fast...I also looked at my startups but haven't found anything, it isn't a big problem for me...

I just bought it and there is no splash screen. I have it set to run at startup and don't see anything like that.

I also have OD+, but have not seen any splash screen. Do you have Stardock Central installed?

If you do, check your taskmanager and see if "sdmcp.exe" is listed...that could be it. To get rid of the splash screen, open Stardock Central > Tools > Settings > uncheck "Enable MCP SmartStartup" and "Enable MCP notification area support". This is about the only splash screen I have encountered regarding a Stardock product.

I see it too. Its only up there for under a second just after the welcome screen, its blue isnt it?

As I said before I have objectdock plus and have never seen a splash screen.
