I started this last night arounf 11pm. and I just finished it this afternoon. Right now I am waiting for permission from the original creator of the start button.

This is the first theme I've made for release :ninja:

I'm just going to post a preview for now, hopefully I will have permission to use the start button soon, or I will just have to make something else.

Anyway, heres a screenshot. Update: New Start Button

Working out some bugs atm, hopefully I can release it bug free. (Y)

Suggestions are welcome :)

UPDATE: Release date set for...golly, today... it's 1:34am... Anyway, this afternoon sometime.

It was mostly a personal mod for a fiew wallpapers I had that didn't match well with any themes I had. I hadn't seen many mods of Royale that suited me either, so I went ahead with this idea. I like the Royal theme, and I know others do as well, so I figured I might as well share. :)

It's alright, but there are already a lot of Royale mods out there, many very similar to this. Looks like all you really added was Segoe UI and slimmed the titlebars.

let's get a few things straight first:

the font in the titlebar is Trebuchet MS, not Segoe UI.

yes, he did slim the titlebars. He also made three recoloured versions.

he also slimmed the titlebar.

"constructive criticism" isn't degrading the purpose of the project. "constructive criticism" is offering advice to better the project. i see none of that in your post. what you made was a flame, and you couldn't even get that right.

you obviously don't like the whole basis of the theme, royale mod. in that case, you should have skipped over the thread right from the start. you people ruined most of the longhorn theme threads, don't start with royale mod ones now too.

there may be lots of mods like this one on devart, but none with these colours. thanks, and have a nice day.

Great mod, hope you get authorization to post it soon:):) I really REALLY love that dark blue.

The blue on black is just awesome..

I'd really think an all white royale mod would be sexy. Hint hint. :shifty:

I was going to, but isn't there already a white royal WIP? Maybe I'll wip up something of my own for a little competition :p

I do have more color variations coming, if not in this release, another one.

Thank you for all the compliments and everything :D I'm happy you all like it :D

Also, any suggestions or anything would be great. But maybe I'll leave that for whe I release it, then everyone will have a chance to try it out.

I'm hoping I can release it early next week. In the mean time, I'll be puting the final touches one it.
