_R2D2
Are there any other industrial rock groups than Rammstein that are any good? Not harder.....maybe a bit softer. Either german och english. Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/223915-industrial-rock/ Share on other sites
Raum
Ministry is another slightly similar band that I'd say is a little less heavy. Might wanna check into them. The songs NWO and Animosity are good. KMFDM is good too but their style is even further from Rammstein. I'd say they're much more political too. Jonny6pak
Expand your listening and hit up the original Industrial bands: Throbbing Gristle, Cabaret Voltaire, ClockDVA, Thomas Leer and Robert Rental, Monte Cazazza, and S.P.K. Although these bands will lead a bit more into the noise element, that was where it all started. Check out http://www.brainwashed.com/industrial/ These were some very interesting groups. It's at least worth a read on Throbbing Gristle. If you want to hit up more of the rocking stuff like Ramstein then I would really hit up Raum's suggestions. I would say older Ministry is better though. I want to add Skinny Puppy to the suggestions. The Shizit was a good one too. They are no longer around but you should be able to find some of their mp3's on file sharing networks. Cabaret Volitaire, TG and so forth are good in their own right, they just didn't sound like the type of stuff he was lookin for. :p Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/223915-industrial-rock/#findComment-584645084 Share on other sites
