Actually I saw all of these videos on tape over a year ago, and I learned quite a bit more, even though I have always believed in Creationism. It will only serve to strengthen your knowledge if you believe in Creation. If you believe in Evolution, I'm pretty sure these videos will greatly weaken your faith, if you're open to the facts and scientific explanations.

As you'll see in these videos, the whole world and all of science supports Creationism.

p.s. if somebody has a fast ftp server, I have all seven of these files and can upload them.

yes, let's watch a one-sided view without letting the other side speak, then you can prove that side is right.... :right: :right: :right:

why not provide some evolutionary video links for us? rather than proposing one solution... :p

timdorr: These videos are not one sided. they show you what evolutionists teach and then arguments against those teachings.

The nice thing is that it shows you things that evolutionists have been hiding for years.

For those with slow connection- what you can do is just use a download manager, queue it all up and set them all to download and let it go ever night.

already found one problem with his arguement. the laws of conservation of angular momentum. ok, imagine two bodies of eliplical shape near enough to each other. They are both rotating in in the same direction as the law would state, however, if they were to make contact, they would hit each other and bounce off in the opposite rotational direction.

confused? imagine these lines are rotating counter-clockwise:

_____

_____

if the connect and hit each other, they will bounce and change angular direction. so his proposal fails.

One other thing he claims evolution is a religion just as much as creationism. this is not true. evolution is a theory. as such it can be eventually proven or disproven, such is not the case with creationism.

I'm an agnostic, so I'm not saying that a god cannot exist. In fact, I have more of the belief that evolutionism exists within a god-created space (Read the Rama book series for an example of what I'm talking about). I just think creationism and evolution shouldn't bother fighting each other and should bother working toward proving their existence.

A lot less angry people if we were able to work that way :D

Just how reliable of a source of information is Dr. Kent "Dino" Hovind?

http://home.austarnet.com.au/stear/bartelt...vind_thesis.htm

Just how sound are his arguments?

What's the scoop on Doc Dino?

How genuine is his offer of 250,000 dollars to disprove him? How much does he squirm under pressure?

Do you know the differences between evolution and creationism?

Not yet convinced on Hovind being a fraud? See how his ilk fare.

Still not convinced?

Yep, that guy sure is a winner. I wish I could get a fake doctorate and make false claims that cannot hold up under any close scrutiny.

One should never take what one sees at face value. If you want to watch and believe everything in the creation videos listed, feel free. If wish to truly hold both evolution and creationism up to scrutiny and determine for yourself, based on the evidence for and against, then I suggest you read, and always remember, one belief has its roots in the unknowable, another in the tangible.

Think for yourselves.

Kent Hovind's major complaint is this:

Evolution is taught in public schools as fact.

Creation is not taught in public schools as a possibility.

There *is* still a debate between Evolution and Creation.

You can't prove that God doesn't exist.

If you can prove that God doesn't exist, and that He could not have possibly created the world, then he'll give you $250,000.

But, again, you can't prove God doesn't exist.

Since you can't prove God doesn't exist, you can't prove creation is false.

Since you can't prove creation is false, it should not be ignored in public schools.

--------------------------------

That is *his* opinion in a nutshell.

Personally, I agree with him. Creation should not be ignored in public school. It should be at least mentioned as a possibility.

If Creation could be proven false, then there wouldn't be any discussion going on here about this at all, would there?

You can agree with him, but logically, his point is not valid.

You cannot prove a negative; the onus of proof is on the person making the claim. If Kent Hovind wants to claim that a god exists and that this god created the world, then he must prove it. Simply put, as you have said, he has not, and cannot.

If we were to put the burden of proof upon someone else, then one could just as easily state "There are invisible purple elephants that fly through the sky! Prove they don't exist! You can't prove they don't exist, so they do!" What good would that do us? Absolutely none.

Science deals with the empirical, what is. Religion deals with what may be. One shouldn't confuse the "maybe" of creationism with the empirical, irrefutable evidence for evolution.

othernutrient: You can't prove evolution nor creation. You have to believe in both. There is no empirical evidence to support evolution. True sciience is testable, observable and repeatable. Evolution fits none of these 3 thefore it's justa philosophy or better yet a form of secular religion as Dr. Hovind says. That's why neither one should be tauhgt in schools. Certainly evolution shouldn't be taught as a fact when it isn't. This is Dr. Hovind's point. Get evolution out of the schools. Why should we all pay for it ?

The Scientific Case Against Evolution

http://www.frontpagemagazine.com/columnist...cke08-20-01.htm

i myself believe in creation, i dont believe in the evolution theory for the simple fact that science has made a lot of mistakes, science is based on analysing and fact, which evolution has no facts to back it up, evolution cannot say that the world is DEFINATELY 40billion years old, because no one really knows, they cant say anything to back them selves up properly.

u cannot prove how old something is by looking at it, like for instance fossils, how do scientists know they are so an so old, or cave drawings, how do they know they were made millions of years ago? they dont, they just say they are..

the simple FACT is that NO ONE knows anything about how we got here, or how everything was made, the only reason i believe in creation is because there is a book called the bible and that is the only facts about how we got here that i know about, not to mention the so many ancient scriptures that have been found, im not here to argue, jus to say that...

we will all find out soon enough who is right..

Evolution is when something EVOLVES from something else. You CANNOT evolve from nothing, So. What was that very first thing that everything evolved from? And if you find that out - then what did that thing evolve from......or who or what created that thing.

mmmm answer that......before you just blurt out "That thing was always there"

Everything has a starting and an ending.

I direct you to my first post in this thread which you have taken the time not to read.

Do you even know what evolution is?

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-miscon...onceptions.html

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/faq-intro-...to-biology.html

http://www.talkorigins.org/faqs/evolution-fact.html

You have an apparent lack of knowledge on the subject. What point is there in discussing the issue further when you cannot even properly define terms?

So if you get what I'm saying, then you understand that any argument you make against evolution after saying "you can't prove evolution" has absolutely no foundation, and is therefore inherently wrong.

the big bang apparently came from nothing and exploded into something, so what u stated is so true, i didnt think of that.... :D

    • I hear you on browser password manager, in my case I have two Google profiles, one was created when Google decided to grandfather us out of Workspace for Domains (with the replacement being too expensive for 25 users) resulting in my domain email address no longer being able to be registered to a new Workspace I created (for myself and another co-owner) so I could use Takeout and sync over some stuff to the new Workspace. Then I have my personal Google profile which I could be logged into on my desktop or Mobile, so I am saving passwords on one or the other, and when an URL changes another password for the same service gets added, it basically ends up being a giant mess. Unless I missed something is there a local decent password manager that can override the browser password managers for Chrome, Edge, Firefox (profiles) so that there is only one vault, and does that also support Passkeys (which to me are still confusing because sometimes it will ask for a Passkey on a phone I am no longer using!) Microsofts implementation of Passkeys is the worst!
    • It's utterly baffling that we have no idea when we'll get new features even well after they've been released. Why Microsoft thinks this is a good rollout strategy is beyond me.
    • If it makes anybody happy, others will need to be bitter about it. (apologies to Yogi Berra)
    • I owned a lot of Soundblaster cards over the years all the way back to the ISA slot era. I use a Soundblaster X3 external now because I'm able to run it through a KVM and have it follow the machine I happen to be using. It drives a set of JBL 305 powered monitors wonderfully. I'm not gaming or doing home theater through it, so rear channels aren't a consideration for me, though it does have side / rear / sub outputs.
    • I disagree that using browser based password managers is a bad idea, your passwords are encrypted by the OS password, but they also be synchronized to make them helpful. I would also use a password manager extension that supports MFA TOTP and Passkeys to manage the account that synchronizes the data. Ente is 100% free and allows you to vault important information, has password vault support, and supports 2FA TOTP support, I just don’t believe, it has a browser extension.
