Just use SuSE 9.1 and download the proper drivers, if they arent allready implemented. It by far the easyiest.

I'm kind of there myself. Everything just works for me in Windows and in Linux. If something doesn't work I know how to fix it. There doesn't seem to be any real challenges left in my PC. I remember when I used to wake up on a day and have to search for hours on how to fix sometimes the simplest but most annoying things.

Now I don't even know what to do with my PC any more. Linux took away my need to look for warez. Games kind of bore me - especally shooting ones. They are all pretty much the same... run after people (sometimes zombies) and shoot them... That's the story in about 70% or 80% of games out there.

So now I just read my email.

Maybe I should donate my free time to some group somewhere where people still do have PC related problems?

But it is a bit boring once you figure it all out.

Hmm well i already have apache + mysql + php on my other compuiter, but learning C++ would be nice although i can never find a good guide. Can someone post a link to a guide or to the name of a book that is really good in teaching C++.

You could always try and mess with distributed compiling... that's always fun to setup :yes:
