something to do

Hmm well i already have apache + mysql + php on my other compuiter, but learning C++ would be nice although i can never find a good guide. Can someone post a link to a guide or to the name of a book that is really good in teaching C++.

I'de recommend OReilly C++ in a Nutshell, or if you've no clue about programming at all Wiley C++ for Dummies. SAMS C++ Unleashed is also a good book, personally I use all three for different things.

Set up another machine, and have fun using MPD ( http://www.musicpd.org/ ) together with clients to control your stereo from anywhere in the building, as long as you have access to a windows/linux-enviroment or a webbrowser.

Or, emerge random stuff and see what they do. With thousands of packages in portage, you can keep on going for quite some time.
