Are ATM machines open on Sunday?

Recommended Posts

you can deposit on Sunday into any ATM, however they funds won't be available to your account till Monday at the end of business (usually around midnight Monday) at most banks.

and yeah you can withdraw from the ATM, as long as you have the funds available and of course an ATM card.

Does that also apply to withdrawel?

i don't understand what you mean...as long as you have the funds in your checking or savings account you can go to any ATM actually, preferably a bank of america one and withdraw from your account. it deducts the money from your account immediately and gives it to you right there.

deposits are the only thing that take the next business day to clear, when they are done on weekends.

B Of A in California machines are 24/7 but they have banking days so anything you do will only take

effect during banking days Monday through Friday you can try to deposit and withdraw sometimes it allows you to withdraw on non cleared funds or at best part of your deposit

I'm sorry I made this thread for a quick question, but I'm in desperate need of a quick answer. I'm in a horrible bind so please, could anyone tell me of any way to withdrawel and input money into a bank account on a sunday?

Whatever you do, remember it won't post to your bank account until Tuesday.

Monday is Columbus day, so banks won't be open.

i know that Bank of America and Wells Fargo banks have deposit envelopes next to their ATM machines.. you just need a deposit ticket (if you have a check book) and your cash or check that you're depositing and put it inside the envelope and drop it inside the bin.

but i don't see the point of that being done on sunday since they're not even going to look at it until Monday... i think

The ATMs here are 24/7/365

The ability to withdraw recently deposited money depends greatly on your account privledges.

If you don't have a ATM card forget using the ATM just go to the bank before noon and it will post in the afternoon

via a human teller

But there are no human tellers there on a sunday?

Dude it doesn't matter if you wait until the bank opens .. Even if you put the money in an ATM over the weekend its not going to be posted until the end of the next business day (which will be tuesday due to the holiday). If you go in on Tuesday morning and deposit in person to the teller at the bank it will be posted on Tuesday .. So no matter what you do you cannot get the money posted to your account until Tuesday at the earliest.

So just wait and go to the bank on Tuesday. Deposit your money. And sit down with a banker, get an ATM card and have them talk you thru what an ATM machine is how how to use one.

    • The original word arts were far more awesome! With their own preconfigured fill patterns, 3D layout, etc, with options to fine-tune their size and colors as desired. I especially loved the ones circled below and still miss them from my primary school years: I frankly use them less these days 'cause the new one isn't as straightforward fine art as what we originally had, taking time and effort to get back to the same graphics quality as the original offered, which I simply don't have enough of for merely fine-tuning my presentation titles. Same with the built-in picarts selection. Bring back the original pre-configured options for word art then I'll be using them far more frequently in my presentations even today.
    • What didn't you understand about that was mainly referring to Google, Microsoft, etc. keeping your passwords. Password Management is a key service of Bitwarden and it's not going anywhere. In any case they do offer export to other Password management services, backup/download of passwords, and the already mentioned on-prem option. I don't agree with the OP to use the free option as it's better to be an actual customer IMO. They don't just don't delete accounts like the big tech companies with no recourse which was the main concern of this article. I was confused if the author was trying to sell this setup? It should be obvious to anyone reading this article this solution is overly complicated and overkill for most users.
