Liked Tom more than Adam, hope they don't get rid of Harr:o:o

Radish?

I'm always secretly hoping that Tom will pop up at some point to save day (sorta of like Tony Almeda did on 24). I know it's corny...but oh man, that would be awesome.

Excellent season (series). I was worried about the whole continuous storyline thing, but it worked well. I'll be really disappointed if Joe doesn't return, she turned into an excellent character.

I was quite dissapointed with the way they ended it. Apart from that, everything was great right up until the point where they did the cliffhanger.

Why couldn't they have just tied it up like they did when Adams wife (R.I.P) was rescued from the guys at the mansion thing.

That would be awesome if that how's Tom would come back, he had a more serious role compared to Adam.

I'm hoping Jo will survive and Adam will go nuts on those terrorists.

Spooks is probably currently one of the best program's on TV. Since I went to University more or less when the new series started it was a bit difficult for me to watch them all and follow it, but now I am home for Christmas I have found time to watch all 10 episodes of season 6. I loved every second of each episode!

I was particularly gutted when Zaf went "missing" as he was such a cool character, I had faith that he would come back though towards the end of the series, but we just found out he had been killed (in a pretty sick way). The ending of the last episode was just annoying as well, the way they just left it like that for another year!

Overall though the series was great, and it took a new format this year. The series was like one whole massive episode, whereas previously one (or perhaps a two parter) made up one storyline. It was a different approach, and it worked.

I need more Spooks, soon!

Oh, and by the way Radish. I totally agree with you, Jo with long hair was freaking hot...now she looks to laddish for me.

Justin: "Hi Neil, thanks for coming back to answer our q's, we have missed you! all your sins are forgiven! Any news on the next series of Spooks on BBC1 and any idea why the DVD of series 6 which was due for release in Feb has been put back to November?"

Neil: The new series of Spooks has started filming this week, I'm told. This time round it's going back to the old format - eight self-contained episodes. As for the DVD of series six, it's been pushed back to coincide with the broadcast of the new series

Great to know Rappy! Loving the original self-contained format; the BBC does it well. More specifically, Kudos who are the production company behind Spooks, Hustle, Life on Mars... all glossy UK dramas that really give the American imports a run for their money.

Filming Starts on Spooks Spin off

Filming has started on a Spooks spin-off for BBC Three.

The new spy drama, titled Spooks: Code 9, is currently being shot in Bradford and will hit screens later this year.

The drama is set in 2013, when London has been evacuated following a nuclear attack, and MI5 must establish field offices across the UK.

The series, starring Joanne Froggatt, focuses on the six young spies recruited to help set up the new Field Office 19.

'Action-packed'

She plays Hannah, who leads a team of rookie spies which includes a mathematician, ex-police officer, a former criminal gone straight, a junior doctor and a student.

Producer Chris Fry said: "After the bomb, MI5 needed new officers with ability, dedication and potential on the streets as soon as possible.

"With the exception of their team leader, none of them have been in the field for more than four months and they will continually find themselves in situations beyond their experience and training - they'll only succeed through grit and determination."

BBC Fiction controller Jane Tranter said: "It's brilliant to have the chance of looking into the future of Spooks with Spooks: Code 9 on BBC Three.

"The series promises to be as entertaining and action-packed as Spooks on BBC One has always been, whilst bringing a more maverick, younger perspective."

An Al Qaeda cell kidnap a British soldier and demand that Remembrance Sunday be cancelled as it is an affront to all dead Muslim soldiers. MI5 hunt the cell but when they secure the release of former MI5 officer Lucas North in a secret spy swap, the team realise Al Qaeda have a new sponsor - the emerging super power Russia, and there's a bomb.

Can't wait

    • Anyway to download these versions without being on the Experimental builds?
    • Nothing is stopping you from continuing with your testing cadence. If updates are released every 2 weeks instead of 4, and you test once every 4 weeks, the exact same amount of patches will still be available for you in those 4 weeks. For example: Before 4th week - patch 1, 2, 3, 4 After 2nd week - patch 1 and 2 4th week - patch 3 and 4 Still the same amount after 4.
    • Everyone else has said it. I'm gonna say it - you don't know what you're talking about. I do. I have two laptops. One work, one personal. I have access to two more laptops - both personal. At home I manually update my personal laptop when I see on Neowin that there is an update - I carry on and only apply the updates when I am ready. My work one only updates when my workplace decides to send it - I carry on and only apply the updates (when they actually arrive, which is usually days after the release) when I switch off the laptop at the end of the day as usual. The two other personal laptops only get updated when I get to it which is rarely - the people who own them carry on using them until I get to it and update them. All of the browsers on all laptops are configured to restore the tabs when launched. Google and Microsoft have changed from 6 weeks to 4, and it looks like it's going to move to 2. None of these changes affect how any of these browsers on the laptops are used. Not one jot. My advice to you is stop panicking whenever you see an update. Just carry on with what you're doing. This even benefits you in a way - from your comment you sound like you don't like the changes or the frivolous new features - great - then carry on as before!
