So no posts to this thread yet? Is Rappy ok? lol

Another classic spooks ep but another death :( Connie was like granny of that place, sad she had to go the way she did :( At least they didn't kill off Harry, that would kill the show.

Next ep will be epic, all the Section D staff will be kill targets :D

The reason has been busy :p

It's on my sky+ but now I know what happens I probably shouldn't of come in here

Yep, shame Ben died :(. Connie had a dark side to her - I wasn't surprised that she was the mole. Harry's coming back on to The Grid at the end was pushed too quickly IMO - great acting from him as usual. Seems it's the last episode is next week

In an interview on BBC Radio Five Live, Peter Firth intimated that Harry and Ruth may well be reunited. He also stated that he was unaware of any potential plans for an eighth series, "like all TV, it depends on ratings...we'll have a good idea after (tonight's episode)". Spooks attracted an average audience of 5.9 million, with roughly 825,000 viewers watching the 10:30pm showing of Episode Two on BBC Three. The second episode when shown the following day on BBC One drew in 5.6 million (a 22% audience share). The third episode when shown on BBC One on 3 November had an average audience of 5.6 million, once more claiming a 22% audience share. On November 10th, Spooks drew 5 million viewers, with a 21% audience share, down from the previous week. On 17 November, it drew an average audience of 4.9 million receiving a 20% share, however, it was against I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! in the same time slot. The following week, Episode Six averaged an impressive 5.4 million, with a 22% share. Interestingly, the penultimate episode of the series which was broadcast on BBC Three at 10:30pm managed to bring in 1 million viewers, being one of the most watched multi-channel shows of the night, easily beating Sky One's return of 24 which managed just under 400,000 viewers.

Kick-ass about the ratings (Y). Would be awesome to have Ruth back, she was so quirky :D

Spooks Recommissioned for 8th Series!

Spy drama Spooks will return for an eighth series, the BBC has today confirmed.

The show, which will wrap up its current run next Monday, has regularly secured ratings of over 5.7 million for the broadcaster.

Executive producer Simon Crawford Collins said: "Spooks is currently enjoying an exceptional run on BBC One and BBC Three and viewers will be shocked when this series ends with a sting in its tale.

"As for next year... we're currently working with our fantastic team of writers to predict the big stories for 2009 to keep Spooks' prescience in these dramatically changing times."

Richard Armitage, who stars as Lucas North in the espionage show, added: "I'm thrilled with the response we've had to this series and I can't wait to find out what the next series has in store.

"If the climatic episodes at the end of series seven are anything to go by, I think series eight will be spectacular. I am excited about taking Lucas into deeper and more dangerous territory, and seeing if he can survive!"

Series eight of Spooks will begin production next March and debut on BBC One later in 2009.

Not the greatest ending to the series but I'm glad Connie died, but Harry was kidnapped at the end :o. Also liked the gun fights and being underground.

Now another wait for series 8 :(

Can't believe it's nearly been a year since the last series ended! :|

Series 8 of Spooks starts on the 4th of November at 9PM on BBC One :woot:

The team is in a state of panic following Harry's kidnapping by FSB agent Viktor Sarkisian as the compelling spy drama starring Peter Firth, Hermione Norris and Richard Armitage returns for a new series.

Hope Harry survives :pinch:

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it. Your choice MS...
