Very nice mod, Playboy. Now here's something worth switching to. The only other VS which I find easy on the eyes besides HmmmXP.

One gripe though, when you cascade windows or just a single window, it doesn't flush perfectly with the screen (common "problem" with other themes). Only HmmmXP doesn't face this problem.

I'm a neat freak, so this bugs me a little as I work with multiple tiled/cascaded windows in one screen. Still, keep up the good work!

Anyway you can fix the expand problem? I find that all themes that use gradiant titlebar have this problem. When you expand the window to fullsize there is always some wierd stuff left on the title bar.

Great theme anyway.  :D

got a screenshot?

Ive patched my uxtheme.dll file but after installing the new skin, my TaskBar looks funny. I normally have it witth the apps on top and the active program buttons on the bottom but this new skin doesnt compensate. Also, is it possible to make the coners not curve?

It's a beautiful skin.

Thanks

Ash

ahhh that thing. Does it happen when you resize the window? I had that but now i dont. I think this only happens when you keep applying themes over and over. just close the window or maximize or then restore it.

about the rounded edge on the taskbar, could u make a square edged version so it will look nicer when sitting at the bottom instead of top. Thanks. Great job!!

this theme is intended to be used at the top. if i do that, it will loose its look. if you really want it just edit the theme and replace these 2 images with resbuild.

Nothing solves it, not even a restart. I get it with all themes that use a gradiant effect and I only get it in explorer not internet explorer.

ever style i use my firefox shakes, why??!?!?!??!?!

I guess you have an empty bookmark bar. Drag an URL on the Firefox bookmark bar (to create at least something on the bar) and I hope the issue will be fixed.

I had the same issue with WindowsX's Royale Glass. He said that it is a glyph problem that is not related to the VS. I didn't have the shaking (in Firefox window) on one computer. When I compare the two computers, the difference was the bookmark toolbar.

Love this mod, thanks for sharing it. Unfortunatly, I too like my taskbar at the bottom, and replaced the images with the ones you gave, but now when the button is pressed, this is how it looks:

Any help would be greatly appreciated! :D

    • My son is in Monaco right now, and I was checking his location in Apple's Find My app. I noticed that Prince Albert's Palace was blurred out on the satellite imagery in both Find My and Apple Maps. I checked Google Maps, and the palace wasn't blurred there. Does Apple have some kind of process where property owners can request that their homes be blurred on Apple Maps?
    • No, it was THAT ugly and I’d rather forget it completely existed.
    • There is a lot of reasons not to use Edge but faster fixes and security updates is not one of them.
    • Can't reproduce. I installed Edge, went to neowin.net > accepted the cookie consent > used menu to go to forums, everything loads and I can browse around the forums. If you can't interact with the dialog on the forums for some reason, go to the main site and accept the cookie consent there? It is true that the site will not function properly until the cookie consent is accepted or rejected,. it's a legal requirement and I also know that certain VPN/ad blockers block it, which is a user related issue and not a neowin.net problem.   This is not our cookie consent dialog. Gotta love browser hijacking... /s Edit: this may be what Californians see, I will confirm with our consent provider.
