MMX Mercury Toolbars

I made these toolbars for IE, Explorer (Including copy, paste etc.) And I also changed to GO arrow. Here's a screenshot, thanks goes to Taxi-Driver for hosting the pic.

I'm currently working on an outlook express toolbar but i've never tried that before so i'm not 100% sure what i'm doing :)

can't get ResHack to work. i rebooted and it went back to the old dll. now i try to save it and it says cannot save shell32.dll

what am i not doing right? icq me pleez :)

If you go to c:windowssystem32dllcache

and delete shell.dll

So go to c:windowssystem32 and rename shell32.dll to shell32.dd then save it. You will get a windows popup just click cancel and reboot

yeah, i seem to have the same problem :(

first i edit shell32.dll with the new bitmaps and then i reboot.

and when i check it out it is still the same usual bitmaps. when i open shell32.dll again, it is not edited.

how can i fix this? somebody plz help :)

Just do as i wrote ::

when reshacker replaces the dll it renames the original to shell32_orginal.dll so the next time it try's to do the same thing so i just rename the first 1 to shell32_originall.dll or something like that :rambo:

yes it is the same what you rename the other one

But the one you are going to save must be shell32.dll

The readme file I included was very unhelpful, I wrote it in 2 seconds and it's actually was supposed to be just copyright note.

But if you'll look into ChaNinja's thread (About BlockOS Icons) you'll see detailed instructions.

Keep me posted if you got it working.

On the horizon -

* Editing every XP icon (Should take a while but MMX makes it worthwhile).

* Edit Control Panel icons.

* Edit Outlook Express icons & bitmaps.

* Edit shellstyle - folder backgrounds etc.

Anything else you can guys think of?
