Also, I got a version of #41 by Dave Matthews Band that clocks in at 23 plus minutes!

Dave Matthews Band + Bela Fleck and the Flecktones - 4.20.02 - #41

32 minutes.

They have also played a 29 minute version and several in the low-mid 20s. There are also 20+ minute performances of Two Step, Jimi Thing, and others.

Of course, as was mentioned, there are plenty of orchestral pieces far longer.

Green Day: Jesus of Suburbia (14min) <---> very long for that kind of music

Dream Theater: Every single one of there songs!!! <---> there CD's only have like 3 songs... about 25min each

Electronic music: club and festival remixes <---> they are never shorter than 60min

Song Name: The Parade Of The Athletes

Artist: Tiesto

Time: 1:12:24 (h/mm/ss)

Size: 99,5 MB @ 192 kbps

The remix Tiesto preformed during the opening of the Olympics in Athens (2004)

DJ Tiesto - Smirnoff Experience (57:06)

No. This is the same thing. There are a tonne of tracks on that set. It's a live setrip from Smirnoff. Actually, if you look into it, it's basically them playing a version of Nyana so it's not even an official Tiesto set ;)

To me, techno doesn't count.  It isn't difficult to have a keyboard do the work for you for many hours on end.  That's my meaningless opinion, though.  Now, what bayrider said amazes me!  :D  The longest songs I know are by Pink Floyd, Santana, and the longest one is by Dream Theater - Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (42:04).

That's awesome!!! :punk: I like your choice of music :D

my friend and i sang the song that never ends for over an hour. we were really bored in the car lol

that can't be worse then the time me and my friends were exhausted after a day @ Wonderland ( some theme park ). We were singing/rappin songs from Linkin Park to OLP .. it was great times..

Has it been released on an album by a real song artist? No. So TECHNICALLY its not a real song. Plus whats a song without lyrics. ;)

Now how does that make it a less of a song then? I can't figure it out, can you explain it to me? The fact that it hasn't been released as a version that you can put on your cd player and listen to it doesn't make it less of a song imo. Also, think of the limitations you put on a cd, you can't get songs there that would last for hours, yet days!

I still think John Cage's song wins. :)

As many others have mentioned, Fates Warning - A Pleasant Shade of Grey, Dream Theater - Six Degrees, and Dream Theater - A Change of Seasons are probably the longest songs that I've heard. Never a dull moment in any of them either.

Tack on Iced Earth - Gettysburg 1863, too.

    • Just remember - Microsoft is a trillion dollar company. They didn't have to raise the price this high. They chose to.
    • PowerToys is getting a new window management utility by Taras Buria If you use PowerToys on Windows 11 or 10, you probably know that the app has quite a few utilities for window management. Fancy Zones, Always on Top, Crop and Lock, just to name a few. Soon, Microsoft will add another one, and fans of Alt + Tab should be excited. Proposed by Clint Rutkas, the module has a very simple idea: use a keyboard shortcut to toggle between windows within one app. For example, if you have four browser windows open, Alt + ` will let you switch between them just like Alt + Tab switches between all running apps. Here is the utility description from its GitHub pull request: Like other PowerToys utilities, Alt Window Cycle will offer shortcut customization. You will be able to use default shortcuts (Alt + ` for the next window or Alt + Shift + ` for the previous one) or remap them to something else. For now, there is no information on when Alt Window Cycle will arrive, so we will have to wait for the next PowerToys feature update (Microsoft usually pushes them on a monthly basis). Recently, Microsoft released version 0.100, which reworked the shortcuts guide, introduced an extension gallery for Command Palette, and more. Shortly after, version 0.100.1 arrived as a bug-fixing update. PowerToys is available on Windows 10 and 11, and you can get the app from the official GitHub repository, the Microsoft Store, or winget. Although Windows 10 is no longer supported, PowerToys developers currently do not plan to drop the now-unsupported operating system. And with Microsoft giving Windows 10 one more year in the Extended Security Update, you can expect PowerToys to remain available on Windows 10 for quite a while.
