"Disc Read Error" on Alcohol 120%

Hi,

When I try to "Make Image" from a CD using Alcohol 120%, I often get "Disc Read Error". Could this be cause by CD-protection or faulty CD-writer?

Nero cannot make image from CD. Is there another software that I can give it a try on?

What kind of cd are you trying to make an image of? If it is an image of a game cd-rom(s), then they are copy protected.

It's a copy protection. Just turn on the fast error skip and let it handle it, the image will be allright and working good :)
