as a matter of fact it is pretty hard to believe that somebody would spend $600 for Photoshop CS for home usage and making free stuff with it when for that money you can buy a last generation PC... but that's not the issue here !

I hate when people charge money for other's work !

These guys are selling it at such a high price for the icons, I really wonder who would want to buy them at that price. What's more if they knew if the icons were freeware, I think this company would surely be gone soon enough if their "customers" knew about it.

This is bad, when I searched cnet I found this form which you can use to contact them.

Go forth and complain, I did already!

I just read their site they actually believe they made them all.

That is terrible, but what will the Iranian government do about it? Are they actually based in Iran.

I wonder if it's a company outside of Iran, as the prices are pretty high for Iranians to pay.

One of the worst things I think is that cnet is supporting them...  Shame on them.

Sorry to all that have been stolen from.  Keep up the good work though :D

I wrote to cnet and they said they have passed it onto the correct people:

Foood icons can be used for non-profit if commercial then you buy from Foood.

It sucks i don't know the other icons ? it's not right that some website can do this.

I'm glad for the artists they pulled down the icons.

However, you're trying to enforce copyright laws for creators of artwork who are mostly in Western Countries against a company in Iran of all coutries. Its a good thing they didn't laugh in your face. They could easily have gotten away with it and kept making money.

    • Too late for a slightly older computer I had that didn't meet the hardware requirements for Windows 11 but had great hardware. I installed ubuntu on that thing and gave to a friend's kid.
