Hey, EnIgMa-PenGuIn, do you know of any way to enable the colorize function for the main MSN window, so that whatever color you pick for your chat windows (and set as the default color) will show up there as well? I've been trying to figure this out for ages in the UIFiles. :s

you need to add "colorize=enabled" to the element or png

If you add it to an element with a class you'll need to add the "colorize: true" statement into the style resid

Stranger still is that most of the elements actually have the statement (for the main window)

Ive attempted to move over the button and all the information I could think of (that it would require)

But ive had no luck in getting things going, Ill try a little later tonight tho.....

Bah. I've attempted to just re-colour all of the PNG files manually, but some of them are only coloured by the UIFiles, which are hard to understand. :pinch:

What do I need to delete to get rid of the "Check Email" button - OR is there a way i can make it point to my GMail account? - That would be brill :p

Another couple of things is the Search The Web box and Banners at the bottom - surely they can be taken out, but I dont know how :(

ya did that a while ago now..... you have a couple interesting questions.. if you a have a passport for your gmail account then you can use it for your msn messenger account... that would b the easiest route to go...

You should go on www.mess.be and try and find the MESS patch for msn 7. Really great app.
