Mustek Gsmart D50

hey all, i'm thinking of buying a Mustek Gsmart D50 but i'm not too sure about it since i'm not familiar with the brand.....i was wondering if anyone who has it or has anything from that company, could you post ur opinion about them and let me know if they're worth buying from? thanx! :)

Did you buy it thinking it was 5 megapixels? Wrong. It is 3.1 megapixels. All the camera specifications on the various sites are all trying to rip you off on this, by specifing the image output resolution, not the actual camera resolution.

Actually, this isn't even 3 MP! It is more around 2.5 MP due to interpoliation.

Also, Mustek are crap. I had a camera from them but had to return it because the batteries drained after about 10 pictures, or something stupid. They are a cheapo brand.
