I've seen alot of these around the Internet and I thought about putting one for neowin. Give a reason why you chose the person.

I think the detroit fans are at fault because one of them threw that bottle and the flying chair did not make them look any better, anyone would do what he did! Just put yourself in his shoes.

Fans should never try to hit Players or Disrespect them at all.

BUT RON ARTEST THROWING PUNCHES @ Fans. All I know is that if my boy was being punched by a Athlete, I'd be throwing punches back and chairs and beer and popcorn and will look for revenge when they come back into Town.

I voted Artest, but I think that the fans are at fault as well. Though Artest is more responsible for the the brawl than the fans...

If the fan wouldn't have thrown the soda cup at Artest he wouldn't have jumped up swinging, but he is the professional and when you are a profesional performer/entertainer, for lack of a better description, you should have a thick skin.

Being a Detroiter myself, I am a bit ashamed at the free for all attitude that came from the fans. There's no reason that the fight should not have stopped with Artest and that one guy that he initially punched.

Fans, players, and security.

Security was non-existant...how did a fan even get onto the floor to square off with Artest? If I'm Artest, I'm hitting that dude. The floor is the players' only safezone, that is their territory, same as the stands for the fans. He shouldn't have went into the stands but the fans shouldn't have thrown anything either.

The NBA is going to crap. It's been going on for awhile now and they've done nothing about it...they deserve this. They always hype all of this garbage and we, as fans, put these guys up on the pedestal. They are just athletes, nothing else. They mean nothing in the big picture. And fans take this garbage too far as well. It's a game, get over it.

As Michael Jordan once said, "Nobody is bigger than the game, not you, not Michael Jordan, nobody."

I agree that the fan shouldn't have thrown that beer or cup whatever @ him while he was lying down, but IF I was @ the game and saw Artest, Jackson, O'neal throwing punches @ my fellow fans (I'm not a Detroit fan, just saying it into perspective), just imagine one of your friends being punched or thrown down by somebody, you know he'd have your back.

This makes me wonder if athletes should go through college and receive a degree before entering the NBA (<--- that was a joke everyone).

LOL; sorry I'm just a little stressed out to see Professionals throwing punches @ fans.

Well, all I know is Artest was cool, laying down on the scorer's table, relaxing after the altercation with Wallace. This never would have happened if the dude didn't throw the water bottle, period. He fouled Wallace hard, Wallace pushed him, and he backed away.

Athletes really have issues today. Look at Clemson and South Carolina. Think they didn't try to emulate the NBA game? Too much of this thug image, it's corroding the sports.

The other reason I think that contributed to this was the fact that there was barely any security officers. Someone could have gotten killed or worse..mugged(did I get my priorities wrong?) just joking but seriously someone could have really hurt someone so thats looking on the bright side. but Im looking forward for their next game together which convieniently is on christmas day lol I have gotta to watch that!

Same.  :D

What? there was another fight? I dont watch football so fill me in on it

Since I'm from MI...I have to support my Detroiters on this one....if Artest hadn't been do dam dramatic, then that guy wouldn't have thrown that drink at him. If I were that guy...I would have done the SAME thing. ...and when Artest could have just shrugged it off or even stopped playing in that game, he climbed into the stands and punched that guy. I don't think it was fair that Ben Wallice and Billips were suspended though. Man if I were one of the people Artest punched...he would be having lawsuits comming out his butt by now.

I look at it two ways.

1st -- Ben Walllace overreated to a foul that should have been shrugged off. I believe being handled the entire game finally got to most of the Pistons and caused a lot of hostility.

2nd -- The fans. If the fans would have not thrown things at Artest, he would not have gone into the stands and everything would have been settled between the players.

You can look at it a lot of different ways that I do. I see them all, but I honestly think it boils down to Ben Wallace.

    • Here is the new Surface Laptop Ultra wallpaper in high resolution by Taras Buria Earlier this week, Microsoft announced the Surface Laptop Ultra, its brand-new high-end laptop powered by NVIDIA's brand-new RTX Spark processor. As usual, Microsoft gives each new device a unique wallpaper, and the Surface Laptop Ultra is no exception. While the device is not publicly available yet, somebody has already extracted its wallpaper, giving everyone a chance to get a piece of the upcoming laptop in its full-resolution glory. The Surface Laptop Ultra has a very dark, abstract wallpaper that resembles the stock wallpapers in Windows Server, albeit with much less color. Having this dark, grim wallpaper highlights the laptop's mini-LED display and its ability to cut off parts of the screen's backlight to achieve OLED-like black levels. However, if you also like light wallpapers, we made a white version by simply inverting its colors. You can download both wallpapers below (click the image, right-click it, and select "Save as"): The Surface Laptop Ultra is expected to launch later this year. Microsoft is not revealing full details yet, including the price. However, Microsoft confirmed up to 1 petaflop of AI performance and RTX 5070-level of GPU performance. The heart of the laptop has up to 20 CPU cores and 6,144 GPU cores. Additionally, Microsoft and NVIDIA boast high CPU efficiency for all-day battery life. As for the display, it is a 15-inch mini-LED display with a pixel density of 262 ppi and a maximum brightness of 2,000 nits. Of course, not everyone needs this amount of power, and certainly not everyone can afford it. For those who need a more affordable device, Microsoft is also preparing the next-generation Surface Pro powered by the Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. Weeks ahead of the announcement, details about this computer were leaked by a retailer. Do you like the Surface Laptop Ultra's stock wallpaper? Share your thoughts in the comments. • From all that I've read on the subject--not that much, really--it looks to me like companies and parents are trying to protect themselves from children using their parents accounts to run up giant bills, sometimes in the thousands of dollars, and the first the parents know about it is when they get sued... Internet companies have been sued for tailoring their ads to children, which is kind of old news. My belief is that policing starts at home with the parents, and the reason that so many laws that can't be enforced are being passed is because parents are eschewing their responsibilities, claiming not enough time, not enough knowledge, etc. Giving kids cell phones sans Internet connectivity is a good place to start--confine Internet activity to PCs in the home that the parents regulate. My kids are all grown and gone, I'm happy to say... They have their own kids to worry about.

    • BTW DXVK is also available on Windows and offers similar benefits like on Linux when it comes to performance, at least in some titles. The Raceroom racing sim for example even offers DXVK as one of its officially supported options and it can achieve ridiculous improvements in certain situations, like quite literally doubling (or more) the framerates
