as subject goes, can you remove the Plus! Menu from the top of the clist?

i can remove the other menus, but plus seems to stay there. I've had a look in

the files in the Plus folder in Reshack, and the ones in the MSN folder, but i cant find anything to do with that menu. Some may be wondering why i want rid of the menu,

i only have plus for the renaming of the contacts, and the larger display pics, i dont

need to be accessing that menu very often, so it doesent really need to be there.

And also, why does plus seem to make the systray icon obtain a white background around it, it seems to be normal on startup but then obtains a white background after a while :pinch:

Any help would be much appreciated. :)

As for the Plus menu. Since Plus creates this dynamically by hooking the MSN Messenger, removing it by traditional means like reshacking messenger or msgplus won't be possible. I am not sure if any other complex procedure can let you do that.

As for the systray icon, It can't be MsnPlus but the skin you are using for messenger that is messing it up. Could be that some interaction / combination of msgplus and installed skin is doing it but it still has to be a bug in skin.

Its called Smooth MSN i think

on that page somewhere. :)

The skin might be the reason you have the white icon. Don't know.

And ask your question on the forums of http://msgplus.net/ They will be able to help better than we can. And your not using XP are you? And what version of MSN Messenger are you using?

thanks for the replies :)

yeah using xp pro, msn was latetst i think? like 6.0237 or something lol

never to worry though, given plus the flick, i've become hell bent on getting a super boot time, lol, plus its an app that i dont really need, so bye bye to that :)

    • Keep in mind Intuit has lobbied like crazy to keep taxes complicated so they can continue to sell tax software. They also got caught hiding their legally mandated free version so they could release a second one that pushed countless people into charges they didn't need to pay to file. Intuit leads the charge on inventing problems so they can sell you the solution and disrespecting you in the process.
