Nice concept, good execution.

However, is it me, or is that kind of shadow impossible. Where is yor light source? :/

i am no expert but i think it is possible, if the light source was directly on the IE logo, it would cast that hard shadow under the IE guy, and the soft ones going out to the edges from the FF guys.

Yes - the render method was radiosity.. And it has 1 light source (on top of the IE guy) that?s why you see his shadow outlines because the light cannot reach there.

Also, the shadows are not black because radiosity calculates the light literally bouncing off objects and onto others.

- I will replace the IE logo on him with the one MrLW gave me.

Well, it?s really not that simple. But it depends how much you know.

Ill explain how I made it:

First off I made faces in fireworks. Then made the little guys & copied and paste them so I get em in a circle.. Angled their heads so they are having IE man, I then rendered it allot of times to get the right effect and so it renders a decent speed in radiosity!

Modelled and rendered in Cinema 4d.

neatofx - it is supposed to have the dithered like effect. I can make it without the graininess to it if you liked.
