Changing default cell phone service provider

Hey,

I was wondering if you would be able to change the phones set service provider, and change it to use another plan but the same phone. Specifically the LG g4015 for AT&T (American) and I want to switch it to a Rogers AT&T (Canadian) plan. For some reason the phone won't let me. I asked the companies and they said they would do it, but charge me for it. I was wondering if there was a way I could do it for free? :devil:

sorry to bring up the old thread, but I have the exact same question! except its sony ericsson t637. Noone knows?

you have to get it unlocked.
